May 5th 2007: Bromley 1 - 1 Billericay Town (aet - Ryman League Premier Division Play Offs)
Bromley won 4-2 on penalties.
Peter Adeniyi slotted home Bromley's fourth successful penalty to spark scenes of wild celebration at Hayes Lane after 120 minutes of tension-packed football had failed to separate two evenly matched sides.
A confident start from the home team was rewarded in the 29th minute when Nic McDonnell spun past his marker to curl home a delightful shot from just inside the penalty area. Bromley continued to build patiently from the back and looked well in control before the visitors hit back to equalise just before the break. Chris Whelpdale was allowed time and space on the right to bend in a cross that Leon Hunter flicked on for Billy Holland to bury from close range.
Billericay controlled the early stages of the second half but Holland squandered their best chances when he raced clear only to hurriedly shoot wide. Bromley raised their game again and went close through Sam Wood and McDonnell but both efforts narrowly failed to find the target. Whelpdale had one last chance to win it for the visitors in normal time but Andy Walker in the Bromley goal blocked his first shot before falling on the loose ball to send the tie into extra time.
Both sides looked heavy legged throughout the extra 30 minutes until Bromley somehow found another gear in the closing minutes to almost win it through McDonnell. Gareth Williams' cross to the far post found the striker sliding in at full stretch but his volley shaved the outside of the post before nestling in the side netting.
It was advantage Bromley after the first two penalties - Barry Moore confidently netting his, Hunter striking the crossbar. Williams then saw his saved by Billy McMahon before Danny Hill levelled it up at 1-1. Kirk Watts and Whelpdale then traded successful spot kicks before McDonnell bravely shook off an attack of cramp to stroke his into the corner. Billericay's last penalty of the day was taken by defender, Darren Blewitt who dragged his kick agonisingly wide allowing Adeniyi to fire home and take Bromley up.

May 1st 2007: Bromley 1 - 0 AFC Wimbledon (Ryman League Premier Division Play Offs)
Bromley gained ample revenge for the two league defeats suffered at the hands of The Dons by eliminating them from the promotion play offs. The visitors shaded the opening stages before Wes Daly pushed the self-destruct button and was sent off for two bookable offences inside the first half hour. Bromley gradually got on top as the match wore on and finally achieved the all-important breakthrough in the 58th minute when Nic McDonnell headed Sam Wood's cross past Andy Little. The home side showed great resilience during the closing stages as Wimbledon threw extra bodies forward and they had to survive one heart-stopping moment deep into stoppage time when Richard Jolly lobbed over an unguarded net before they could celebrate a well-deserved victory.

April 28th 2007: Boreham Wood 0 - 2 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
The Lillywhites turned on the style at Meadow Park to clinch runners-up spot and home advantage throughout their involvement in the end of season promotion play offs. Only a superb display of goalkeeping from Noel Imber prevented Bromley from running out easy winners. An early goal from Nic McDonnell was added to just before the break by Gareth Williams to end the game as a contest. The second half saw Bromley continue to dominate procedings but Imber pulled off save after save to ensure the visitors didn't add to their tally.

April 26th 2007: Bromley 2 - 4 Tooting & Mitcham United (London Senior Cup - Final)
A second cup final in 48 hours proved too much for Bromley as they suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of their Ryman Division One South hosts. The poor playing surface did little to help Bromley's passing game and Tooting soon had the visitors on the back foot. Paul Vines opened the scoring with an emphatic finish in the 27th minute and Eben Allen made it 2-0 two minutes later when he curled home a 20-yard free kick. Vines rattled in number three in the 40th minute before completing his hat trick from close range three minutes after the restart. Bromley fought back in the closing stages, pulling one back on the hour through Gareth Williams and Garath McCleary gave the final scoreline a more respectable look with a fine finish in injury time.

April 24th 2007: Bromley 3 - 1 Tonbridge Angels (Kent Senior Cup - Final)
Bromley retained the trophy after a hard-fought high tempo encounter at Hayes Lane. An even first half saw chances few and far between before Bromley took the lead in stoppage time when Gareth Williams netted from the penalty spot after he had been brought down by John Beales.
The home side dominated the early stages of the second half and quickly opened up a three-goal advantage through Nic McDonnell (49) and Peter Adeniyi (51). To their credit Tonbridge didn't let their heads drop and got back into the game in the 58th minute through Ray Powell's close-range header. Powell had a great chance soon after to reduce the deficit further but blasted over when well placed. That signaled the end of the visitor's challenge as Bromley stayed strong to the end to lift the cup again.

April 21st 2007: Bromley 1 - 0 Billericay Town (Ryman League Premier Division)
Barry Moore's 68th minute strike settled a tight encounter and guaranteed Bromley a top five finish. With both sides chasing a place in the play offs this was always going to tense affair and there was little to choose between the two teams for long periods. Defences were well on top during the first half with Billy Holland and Lee Hodges having half chances for Billericay whilst Sam Wood's ball went close for the home side when his cross from the left hit the far post in stoppage time.
The visitors began the second half on top with Hodges just off target twice in the space of a few minutes before Bromley took control of proceedings. Gareth Williams came off the bench and was quickly into the thick of the action, clipping a shot just wide on the hour before beginning the move that led to the all-important goal. He started another attack from deep inside his own half, picking out Nic McDonnell just inside the Billericay box. Bromley's leading scorer did well to hold the ball up before laying it back to Moore who found the far corner with a sweetly struck left foot shot. The home team defended well for what remained of an enthralling contest and had chances to wrap up the victory but Billy McMahon in the Billericay was in inspired form, saving from Moore, Tony Boot and Wood to keep the visitors in the match. His efforts proved in vain however as Bromley held on to claim a vital victory.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Kadi (Williams 58), Wood, O'Sullivan, Duku, Bowry, Adeniyi, Moore, Boot (McCleary 64), McDonnell, Osborn
(Henriques 23).
Unused subs: Watts, Sharpling.
April 16th 2007: Ashford Town 0 - 5 Bromley (Kent Senior Cup - Semi Final)
Bromley continued their defence of the Kent Senior Cup with a comfortable victory at the Homelands on Monday. The Lillywhites started strongly and soon opened up a two-goal advantage thanks to Gareth Williams' neat finish in the 11th minute and a far post header from the same player seven minutes later. Ashford worked hard to stay in the game and there was no further scoring in the first half although the visitors went close on several occasions.
After a quiet beginning the second half burst into life on the hour as Bromley raised the tempo and extended their lead when Tutu Henriques cleverly flicked home a low cross from Peter Adeniyi. Ashford continued to battle away but the visitors proved too strong in the closing stages and Williams completed his hat trick from the spot in the 79th minute before Nic McDonnell rounded off the scoring eight minutes from time.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Kadi, Wood, Greenway, Duku, Henriques, Adeniyi, Moore, McCleary (Boot 67), Williams (McDonnell 80), Watts

April 14th 2007: Slough Town 0 - 8 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley produced a ruthless performance on a hot afternoon at Stag Meadow to reclaim top spot in the table. Tony Boot settled any nerves the visitors might have had with a cool finish from a narrow angle in the third minute and when he thumped home his and Bromley's second 13 minutes later the result was never really in doubt. Nic McDonnell swept home the third in the 29th minute from Simon Osborn's low cross before Boot completed a first-half hat trick in the 38th minute from McDonnell's cross.
The second half started in low-key fashion before Bromley rang the changes with Gareth Williams coming off the bench to net twice in as many minutes. First he side footed Peter Adeniyi's cross home from close range in the 69th minute before running on to Barry Moore's through ball to net with a clinical finish past Carl Dennison in the Slough goal. Adeniyi smashed home number seven in the 74th minute from the corner of the penalty area and Garath McCleary completed the rout five minutes later from just outside the six-yard box.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Kadi, Wood, O'Sullivan (Henriques 80), Duku, Bowry, Adeniyi, Moore, Boot (Williams 54), McDonnell
(McCleary 66), Osborn.
Unused subs: Watts, Sharpling.
April 9th 2007: Bromley 2 - 1 Carshalton Athletic (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley dug deep to claim three more precious points at Hayes Lane thanks to an early Donal O'Sullivan goal and a Junior Kadi spot kick. The home side's nerves were settled almost immediately when Peter Adeniyi flicked on a Barry Moore corner for O'Sullivan to power home a header at the far post. The game became scrappy and Carshalton drew level just before the half hour when a corner found its way to Adrian Toppin who fired home via the underside of the crossbar.
Bromley regained the upper hand after the break and they went in front again just before the hour when Kadi converted from 12 yards after Moore had been bundled over in the box. That proved to be the winner as the remainder of the match was a nervy affair with the home side unable to push home their territorial advantage and Carshalton always looking dangerous on the break.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Kadi, Wood, O'Sullivan, Duku, Bowry, Adeniyi, Moore, Boot (McCleary 68), McDonnell, Osborn.
Unused subs: Watts, Williams, Sharpling, Greenway.
April 6th 2007: Ramsgate 1 - 3 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
The Lillywhites got their promotion push back on track with a well-deserved victory at Southwood Stadium on Good Friday. A fast and furious first 45 minutes ended in stalemate before the match opened up in the second half. The home side took the lead in the 56th minute when Shaun Welford robbed Donal O'Sullivan of possession as the centre back attempted to play the ball out of defence and fired a shot across goal that deflected in off of Francis Duku. Bromley hit back straight from the kick off when Sam Wood finished off a fine flowing move with a thumping drive from 20 yards. The visitors continued to play constructive football and went in front in the 87th minute when Nic McDonnell scored from close range after good work by Peter Adeniyi. Wood then set up Garath McCleary for the clincher with a through ball that the substitute coolly helped over the Rams 'keeper before volleying it into an empty net from a couple of yards.

Osborn.

April 3rd 2007: Walton & Hersham 0 - 0 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley's efforts to get things back on track after Saturday's disappoinment were frustrated at Stompond Lane on a dry, dusty playing surface. Both sides struggled to find any kind of rhythm during a dour first half although Nic McDonnell had a great chance to give Bromley the lead on the half hour but he volleyed Mark Corneille's cross over from close range.
A more open second half saw Walton's Sam Baldcock give the visitor's defence a few anxious moments before Bromley finished the match strongly without ever really testing Rob Webb in the home goal.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood, O'Sullivan, Duku, Osborn, Sharpling (McCleary 65), Kadi, Boot (Williams 88), McDonnell,
Watts (Moore 55).

March 31st 2007: Bromley 1 - 2 Folkestone Invicta (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley let three more points slip through their grasp despite dominating the opening stages and scoring first. Early pressure was rewarded when Gareth Williams slotted home a penalty after a cross from Sam Wood had been handled in the box by a defender. The home looked well in control but failed to add to their lead and Folkestone weathered the storm to get back into the game.
The visitors started the second half strongly and drew level in the 47th minute when Mark Saunders headed home from a corner. Bromley were rocked by conceding and Folkestone took further advantage seven minutes later when Damien Abel scored at the second attempt after Andy Walker had parried his first shot. Going behind shook the home side into action but the could find no way past Richard Martin in the Folkestone goal. The 'keeper, who is on loan from Brighton, had an inspired last 20 minutes, saving everything Bromley could throw at him to ensure Invicta returned home with a hard-earned victory.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille (Watts 61), Wood, O'Sullivan, Duku, Bowry, Adeniyi (Kadi 80), Moore (Sharpling 61), Williams,
McDonnell, Osborn.

March 24th 2007: East Thurrock United 1 - 5 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley returned to winning ways with an excellent all-round team performance at Rookery Hill on Saturday. Barry Moore gave the visitors a 12th minute lead when he reacted quickly to roll the ball into an unguarded net after East Thurrock 'keeper, Jamie Riley had lost possession in the act of clearing. Six minutes later Nic McDonnell doubled the advantage with a superb dipping volley from all of 35 yards having spotted Riley off his line. The home side battled hard but made little impact on Bromley's well organised back line and Gareth Williams killed the game off in first half stoppage time when he coolly netted from the spot after Kevin Mully had handled just inside the box.
The Lillywhites knocked the ball around confidently for the majority of the second period and McDonnell slotted home his second in the 66th minute. The home side managed to pull one back five minutes later when Darren Grieves bundled the ball home from close range but Bromley were soon back on top and Chris Sharpling marked his first appearance in a Bromley shirt with a great finish to a lovely move involving Peter Adeniyi and Tony Boot six minutes from full time.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood (Watts 87), O'Sullivan, Duku, Moore, Adeniyi, Bowry, Williams (Boot 80), McDonnell

March 20th 2007: Harrow Borough 2 - 1 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley's slide down the table continued with another disappointing defeat on the road. Harrow came at the visitors from the first whistle and took the lead after four minutes when Steve Claridge volleyed home from near the penalty spot. Seven minutes later it was 2-0 when James Bent charged down Andy Walker's clearance of a Francis Duku back pass and beat the Bromley goalkeeper to the loose ball to score from close range. The Lillywhites tried to lift their game but all too often the final pass went astray before Kieron Jimmy gave them a lifeline in first half stoppage time. In attempting to clear a back pass the Harrow 'keeper scuffed his kick and Nic McDonnell reacted quickly to slot the ball home from the edge of the six yard box.
Bromley raised the tempo after the break and pushed the home side back for long periods but a combination of wayward finishing and physical defending kept Harrow's lead in tact until McDonnell looked to have snatched a point for the visitors in the latter stages. His glancing header from a corner looked to have crossed the line before Jimmy clawed the ball back but the assistant referee kept his flag down.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille (Adeniyi 46), Wood, Sobers (Moore 55), Duku, Henriques, Osborn, Greenway, Boot (Williams 70), McDonnell, Watts.
Unused subs: Bowry, McCleary.
March 17th 2007: Bromley 1 - 1 Hendon (Ryman League Premier Division)
Hendon had slightly the better of an uninspiring first 45 minutes with Lee O'Leary prompting well from midfield and they thought they had taken the lead in the 27th minute when Belal Aiteouakrim forced home from close range only to have his effort ruled out for offside.
Bromley started the second half in more positive mood and Nic NcDonnell's 49th minute header looked to have secured three precious points until second half substitute, Darragh Duffy popped up to rescue a point in the 83rd minute for the hard working visitors.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood, Sobers, Duku, Henriques, Adeniyi (Greenway 90), Moore, Bowry, McDonnell (Boot 77),

Bromley began their defence of the Kent Senior Cup with a comfortable victory at the Crabble Athletic Ground. After a scrappy start by both sides Barry Moore put the visitors ahead in the 25th minute when he threaded the ball low into the net at the second attempt after his initial free kick had been blocked by the wall. Nic McDonnell then doubled the lead in the 33rd minute when he received the ball from Bobby Bowry with his back to goal before beating Dover 'keeper, Darren Smith with a superb shot on the turn.
Bromley dominated proceedings after the break and killed the tie off in the 57th minute when Gareth Williams slotted the ball past Smith having been put through on goal by Moore.

Watts (Greenway 66).
Unused subs: Aslan, Reid.
March 10th 2007: Ashford Town (Middx) 2 - 0 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley slipped to defeat at the hands of their relegation-threatened hosts on a bright and breezy afternoon. A scrappy first half ended scoreless although it took a great save from Ashford's Paul Burgess to keep out a curling Sam free kick from Sam Wood that looked destined for the top corner in the 31st minute.
The home side caught Bromley cold at the start of the second period and they took the lead in the 47th minute through Jason Chewins. The Lillywhites had plenty of possession after falling behind but rarely looked like forcing an equaliser, Kirk Watts' stooping far-post header from Wood's cross that hit the base of the post was the closest they came before Ashford wrapped up the points five minutes from time through Gavin Smith.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille (Greenway 78), Wood, Jinadu, Sobers, Osborn (Henriques 46), Adeniyi, Moore, Boot (Watts 55),
McDonnell, Williams.

March 6th 2007: Bromley 5 - 0 Cockfosters (London Senior Cup Semi Final)
Bromley had to work hard for the best part of an hour before securing their place in this season's London Senior Cup Final. Barry Moore gave the home side a narrow half time advantage with a powerful header than found the net via the underside of the crossbar in the 26th minute. The Spartan South Midlands side continued to put up spirited resistance after the break despite conceding the first of Adam Greenway's four goals in the 51st minute. He netted again in the 64th minute before completing his hat trick six minutes later and then rounding off a great night with a Bromley's fifth eleven minutes from time.

March 3rd 2007: Bromley 3 - 2 Hampton & Richmond Borough (Ryman League Premier Division)
A superb goal from Gareth Williams in the 82nd minute settled an exciting, open encounter at Hayes Lane on Saturday. Bromley began brightly and deservedly went in front after 15 minutes when Nic McDonnell converted Barry Moore's low cross from the right before Hampton made an early substitution and levelled through Lawrence Yaku midway through the half.
The visitors opened the second half on top and took the lead after 54 minutes when Ian Hodges headed home Elliot Godfrey's left wing cross. Bromley didn't let their heads drop and McDonnell was on hand again to finish off Kirk Watts' cross from close range in the 62nd minute. With the game flowing from end to end Sam Wood set up the winner with a surging run from deep inside his own half and an inch-perfect pass that Williams stroked into the bottom corner.

February 20th 2007: Staines Town 1 - 4 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
A superb second half display enabled Bromley to complete a league double over their hosts and end the evening back on top of the table. The Lillywhites got off to a great start when Staines 'keeper, Shaun Allway's scuffed clearance went straight to Tony Boot who lobbed the ball back into the empty net from all of 40 yards. The lead didn't last too long however as the home side played with great pace and invention, causing Bromley's defence plenty of problems, before Mark Nwokeji netted the equaliser in the 22nd minute.
It was a different story after the break as Bromley tore into the Swans from the first whistle and Boot soon restored their advantage with a cool finish after great work down the left from Gareth Williams. Midway through the half Nic McDonnell provided Boot with the chance to complete his hat trick and the in-form striker grateful tucked the ball home from close range. Williams then rounded off the scoring with another classy finish from a narrow angle after Peter Adeniyi picked him out on the left in the 81st minute.

February 17th 2007: Bromley 0 - 1 Heybridge Swifts (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley were made to pay for a lacklustre first half performance as mid-table Heybridge left Hayes Lane with all three points thanks to Michael Shinn's 43rd minute winner. The home side looked far livelier after the break but could not find a way past Danny Gay in Heybridge goal.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Greenway, Lovell, Jinadu, Duku, Henriques, Adeniyi, Moore, Kennedy (Osborn 66), Williams (McDonnell 46), Watts (Wood 46).
Unused subs: Bowry, Aslan.
February 10th 2007: AFC Wimbledon 3 - 2 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
Both sides contributed much to this exciting, action-packed encounter but ultimately it was Andy Little's 77th minute penalty save that proved to be the turning point at Kingsmeadow on Saturday.
Bromley got off to a flying start when Peter Adeniyi marked his return from injury with the finish to a superb move through the middle of the home side's defence after just five minutes. The Dons hit back with plenty of pace and passion and drew level in the 18th minute when Steve Ferguson raced clear down the right before cutting in to place a low shot beyond Andy Walker into the far corner. The home side had the majority of the possession for the remainder of the half but Bromley still created good chances for Tony Boot and Barry Moore although neither tested Little.
The Lillywhites enjoyed plenty of the ball at the start of the second half and after Gareth Williams' long-range effort had clipped the outside of the post they wasted a golden opportunity to retake the lead just after the hour. Nic McDonnell and Williams combined to give Kirk Watts a clear sight of goal but he blazed wildly over when it seemed he must score. Lifted by the escape the home side pushed forward and took the lead in the 73rd minute when Ferguson collected Wes Daly's through ball and beat Walker with a low shot on the turn. Still far from out of the match Bromley should have drawn level four minutes later when Watts was hauled down in the box only for McDonnell to have his spot kick well saved by Little. The Dons wrapped up the points eight minutes from time when Roscoe D'Sane capitalised on some tired defending to score from close range before McDonnell headed home Moore's corner in the last few seconds of stoppage time.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Lovell (Kennedy 84), Jinadu, Sobers (Duku 26), Henriques, Adeniyi, Moore, Boot (McDonnell 60), Williams, Watts.
Unused subs: Bowry, Greenway.
February 3rd 2007: Bromley 4 - 1 Leyton (Ryman League Premier Division)
Tony Boot netted his first hat-trick in Bromley colours to help The Lillywhites to a comfortable victory over Leyton. The home side turned early pressure into an 18th minute lead when Boot headed Kirk Watts' cross past Jamie Lunan in the Leyton goal. They continued to dominate proceedings but were caught out 10 minutes before half time when Manny Williams equalised with a low shot. More Bromley pressure was rewarded shortly before the break when Boot ran on to Gareth Williams' through ball to restore their lead. The second half was largely one-way traffic and after Boot had gone close on a couple of occasions he scored his and Bromley's third just before the hour with an emphatic finish from close range. The home side might have added to their tally several times before Nic McDonnell wrapped things up in the 83rd minute, picking up the pieces to roll the ball into an empty net after Kenny Kennedy had been denied by a combination of Lunan and a defender at the end of a strong run from just inside the visitor's half.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Lovell, Jinadu, Sobers, Henriques, Osborn (Greenway 75), Moore, Boot (Kennedy 78), Williams, Watts (McDonnell 52).
Unused subs: Bowry, Duku.
January 27th 2007: Bromley 3 - 0 Tonbridge Angels (Ryman League Premier Division)
This hard-earned win enabled Bromley to complete a league double over their Kent neighbours and return to the top of the table. Gareth Williams opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a well-placed 25 yard shot after a free kick had been touched to him by Bobby Bowry. The home side survived a scare when Jon Main's shot cannoned back off the inside of the post before stretching their lead through Tutu Henriques' superb volley five minutes before half time. Bromley were content to protect their advantage during an unspectacular second half and although Tonbridge had plenty of possession they rarely troubled the home side's defence. Nic McDonnell came off the bench to wrap up the scoring in the 80th minute when he arrived at the far post to smash Barry Moore's cross high into the net after good work from Tony Boot and Henriques.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Lovell, Jinadu, Sobers, Henriques, Bowry (Moore 56), Osborn, Boot, Williams (Kennedy 75), Watts (McDonnell 63).
Unused subs: Greenway, Fieldwick.
January 20th 2007: Horsham 1 - 1 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
A goal from Tony Boot 11 minutes before the end salvaged a point for Bromley from a tough encounter at the Atspeed Stadium. The home side opended positively on the heavy playing surface and took the lead after 13 minutes when Eddie French swept home the loose ball after Bromley failed to clear Nigel Brake's free kick. The visitors hit back to create several good chances but failed to hit the target and went in at the break one down. An open second half saw both sides go close although Horsham had the more clear cut opportunities to wrap up the points until Gareth Williams burst clear on the left to set up Boot who scored from close range.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille (K. Watts 76), Lovell, Henriques, Jinadu, Osborn, Bowry (Greenway 86), Moore, Boot, Williams, Kennedy (McDonnell 55).

January 16th 2007: Tonbridge Angels 1 - 2 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
On their first ever league visit to Longmead Stadium Bromley produced a strong all-round team performance to run out deserved winners on the night. The home side started well but Bromley soon got on top, passing the ball well on the slick surface and creating chances. Gareth Williams opened the scoring on the half hour with an emphatic finish before Tobi Jinadu powered home a header from Barry Moore's cross in the 44th minute. Bromley continued to dominate after the break but were denied by some last ditch defending and several good saves from Aaron Kerr in the Tonbridge goal. Ian Parkes pulled one back for the home side in the 83rd minute but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation as Bromley ran out the clock to record a comfortable victory.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood, Jinadu, Sobers, Osborn, Adeniyi, Moore, Boot (McDonnell 74), Williams (Bowry 76), Kennedy.
Unused subs: Greenway, Henriques, Hughes.
January 13th 2007: Bromley 2 - 1 Chelmsford City (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley got their season back on track with a controversial victory over the league leaders. An even first 45 minutes looked like ending scoreless before Ricky Holmes stunned the home fans by putting City ahead in stoppage time after he ran on to an excellent through ball from Jeff Minton. The match burst into life just before the hour when Barry Moore drilled home a free kick after Chelmsford goalkeeper, Richard McKinney was penalised for holding on to the ball for too long. The referee at first appeared to rule out the goal for encroachment but then allowed it to stand after consulting his assistant. Chelmsford lost their discipline for a short while and they were soon reduced to ten men when Mario Noto was sent off for something he said to the man in black. There were chances at both ends as the game became stretched in the closing stages before Kenny Kennedy came off the bench to win it for Bromley after McKinney had fumbled an innocuous free kick from Sam Wood in the 90th minute.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood, Jinadu, Sobers, Osborn, Adeniyi (Bowry 67), Moore, Boot (Kennedy 90), Williams, K. Watts (O'Sullivan 70).
Unused subs: Fieldwick, Greenway.
January 9th 2007: Bromley 2 - 1 Metropoltian Police (London Senior Cup - Quarter Final)
Bromley pulled this tie out of the fire with two goals in the final eight minutes to claim a place in the last four of the London Senior Cup. After a dour first half the visitors looked like pulling off a surprise victory when Barry Stevens fired them ahead in the 65th minute. The home side found another gear in the last ten minutes and after Barry Moore had curled in a superb 82nd minute equaliser from a free kick they won the tie three minutes from full time. Moore's shot was palmed away by Will Packham in the Police goal only for Tony Boot to retrieve the loose ball and hook it into the middle where Lee Gledhill could only divert it into his own net from close range.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille (O'Sullivan 73), Fieldwick, Sobers, Greenway, Osborn (Moore 46), Bowry, Hughes, Boot, Williams, Wood (Tornaritis 46).
Unused subs: Bubb, Parnham.
January 3rd 2007: Bromley 1 - 3 AFC Wimbledon (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley were given a harsh lesson by an impressive Dons side who left Hayes Lane with all three points for the first time in their short history. Roscoe D'Sane set the tone for the evening with a calm finish after just six minutes and then the same player netted from the spot six minutes before the break to leave Bromley with a mountain to climb. Playing with ten men for over 50 minutes after Donal O'Sullivan had been sent off in conceding the penalty Bromley worked hard after the break but failed to create any real openings until Tony Boot pulled a goal back in the 85th minute from close range. Chasing an unlikely equaliser the home side pushed forward, leaving gaps at the back and they were punished when D'Sane broke away in the last minute to set up Stephen Goddard for AFC Wimbledon's third to seal a deserved victory on the night.

December 30th 2006: Bromley 3 - 3 Worthing (Ryman League Premier Division)
The high winds and driving rain made for an entertaining if error-strewn encounter at Hayes Lane as Worthing staged a spirited fight back from 3-1 down to earn a point. Kirk Watts put Bromley in front midway through the first half only for James Fraser to head the visitors level completely against the run of play eight minutes before the break. Early second half pressure from The Lillywhites saw them establish a two-goal lead through Barry Moore and Gareth Williams by the 57th minute but Worthing refused to be beaten and they were soon back on level terms once again. Danny Davis fired home with the help of a wicked deflection just after the hour and then Jamie Lawrence completed the comeback with a wind assisted 40-yarder in the 67th minute.

December 26th 2006: Carshalton Athletic 1 - 1 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
Bromley had to settle for a point on Boxing Day despite creating numerous chances in the closing stages even after they had been reduced to ten men late on when Tutu Henriques was sent off. After a dour, defence-dominated first half the match came to life at the start of the second period when Eben Allen spectacularly volleyed Carshalton ahead from 25 yards. Bromley hit back within a couple of minutes to draw level when Tony Boot diverted a shot from Gareth Williams into the corner. The visitors fashioned several good chances during the remainder of the half but a combination of the woodwork, some great saves from Paul Seuke in the Carshalton goal and some wastful finishes ensured a frustrating afternoon at Colston Avenue for the men in white.

December 23rd 2006: Billericay Town 0 - 0 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
The Lillywhites returned from New Lodge with a precious point thanks to an inspired goalkeeping performance from Andy Walker. Time and time again the Bromley custodian kept Billericay at bay with some superb saves including one from Leon Hunter's second half penalty before the visitors had a chance to steal victory when they were awarded a spot kick of their own in the 86th minute. Gareth Williams struck the ball well enough but Billy McMahon dived to his left to parry the effort and ensure a share of the spoils for the home side.

December 16th 2006: Bromley 1 - 1 Boreham Wood (Ryman League Premier Division)
Nic McDonnell rescued a point for the home side on his return from injury with a last-gasp equaliser after Darren Lynch looked to have won it for Boreham Wood late on. Bromley struggled to get into the match on a cold afternoon and might have fallen behind earlier than they did but the visitors were wasteful in front of goal. Chris Bangura, Simon Thomas and Leon Archer all failed to hit the target but when Lynch netted from close range in the 85th minute that seemed to be enough until Bromley's leading scorer forced the ball home from close range in stoppage time.

December 9th 2006: Bromley 4 - 2 Walton & Hersham (Ryman League Premier Division)
Gareth Williams notched his second quick-fire hat trick of the season to send Bromley back to the top of the table. A clinical seventh-minute finish was followed by a free kick five minutes later that slipped through the hands of Walton 'keeper, Nick Gindre. The Welshman then collected a superb Barry Moore pass in the 19th minute to sidestep Gindre and roll the ball into an empty net. At this point Bromley were threatening to run riot but Walton somehow weathered the storm to pull one back just before the break when Bobby Traynor slotted home a penalty after Byron Brown had been brought down by Adam Greenway.
Walton pushed forward after the break and tested Andy Walker on several occasions before pulling another goal back in the 74th minute through Michael Murphy's far post header from a corner. The home side kept their composure to restore a two goal advantage and clinch the points in the 80th minute when Steve Watts converted from the penalty spot after Williams had been bundled over in the box.

Unused subs: Osborn, Aslan, Donovan, Bowry.
December 4th 2006: Hendon 0 - 2 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
The Lillywhites left a wet and windy Claremont Road with another excellent win thanks to a couple of early goals and a disciplined performance in difficult conditions. Gareth Williams set Bromley on their way after 18 minutes when he raced clear before unselfishly squaring the ball to give Kirk Watts the task of netting from close range into an unguarded goal. Eight minutes later the lead was doubled when Williams fired home from just inside the penalty area with the aid of a deflection. Hendon worked hard after the break to reduce the deficit but all too often the final pass went astray with the visitors happy to sit on their lead. Bromley did raise the tempo in the closing stages and went close again on a couple of occasions on what was a very good night's work in North London.

December 2nd 2006: Heybridge Swifts 0 - 1 Bromley (Ryman League Premier Division)
An injury-hit Bromley side had to dig deep to wrestle all three points away from The Swifts after a physical encounter. The home side had the better of the first half with Richard Jolly hitting a post when clean through on goal and Ian Wiles forcing Andy Walker into a superb one-handed save with a glancing header. Lloyd Blackman had Bromley's best effort on goal with a close range effort that Heybridge 'keeper, Danny Gay did well to block.
Bromley achieved the all-important breakthrough just before the hour when Gareth Williams collected a through ball and went round Gay only to be brought down in the box by Wiles. The Welshman picked himself up to bury the spot kick and despite a late rally from the home side, during which Gianni Frankis rattled the crossbar from distance, Bromley held on to record a hard-earned victory.

November 28th 2006: Bromley 0 - 3 Horsham (Ryman League Premier Division)
Two goals in the final ten minutes condemned Bromley to a second successive home defeat and sent the visitors to the top of the table. Carl Rook gave Horsham a slender advantage at the break when he converted a cross from Gary Charman in the 36th minute after a scrappy first half. Bromley had a good spell of pressure immediately after the restart but failed to make the most of several good chances and Horsham dominated the closing stages to secure the points through Lewis Taylor and John Westcott.

The visitors put an end to Bromley's unbeaten start to the league season with a strong, disciplined display. Danny Hockton headed Gate into an early lead from a corner and James Pinnock doubled their advantage in the 24th minute with a superb 20-yard strike. Nic McDonnell pulled one back in the 74th minute but Steve McKimm killed off any hopes of a comeback by the home side when he thumped home Margate's third ten minutes from time.

A frustrating afternoon ended in stalemate at Lea Bridge Road as missed chances cost Bromley the chance to open up a two point gap at the top of the table. Sam Wood, Lloyd Blackman and Kirk Watts were all thwarted by Leyton 'keeper, Charlie Hasler during a first half that also saw Nic McDonnell thump a header against the Leyton crossbar.
Bromley continued to press forward after the break but failed to convert several promising situations and were almost made to pay in the latter stages as Leyton went close through Loui Fazackerley.

November 11th 2006: Gillingham 4 - 1 Bromley (FA Cup sponsored by E.ON - First Round)
Roared on by over 1500 fans The Lillywhites produced a superb performance to push their full-time hosts all the way at Priestfield Stadium. A fast and furious opening spell saw Gills on top but unable to break the deadlock. Bromley began to come into the game but fell behind on 31 minutes when Mark Bentley headed home from close range.
Bromly continued to give as good they got after the break and Sam Wood forced Kelvin Jack into a superb save in the 57th minute before Bentley doubled the home side's lead just before the hour with a neat finish from inside the six-yard box. Bromley refused to let their heads drop and deservedly pulled a goal back with 20 minutes to go when Nic McDonnell latched onto a great through ball from Gareth Williams to beat Jack with a powerful low drive. With Gillingham firmly on the back foot Bromley went in search of an equaliser and only a fine last-ditch save from Jack denied Williams in the 80th minute. The frantic pace finally took its toll on the visitors in the closing moments and Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu netted twice to give the final score a rather flattering look in favour of the home side.

A dour first half burst into life in the 40th minute when Nic McDonnell raced on to Lee Fieldwick's long pass to hold off Danny Carroll and smash the ball past Dave King to open the scoring for the visitors. The lead lasted barely 60 seconds however as Matt Yorke's free kick was headed home at the far post by Joe Vines to send the sides in level at half time
Both teams had chances to win it after the break with King called into action on several occasions and Adam Greenway clearing off the line at the other end. The home side looked favourites to pull off an upset when Fieldwick was sent off having been booked for a second time with ten minutes to go but Bromley dug deep and a draw was probably the right result on the day.

Bromley produced a superb team performance to reach the First Round Proper for the first time in ten years. A blistering start from the home side came to nothng as Bromley soaked up the early pressure before taking an 11th minute lead through Lloyd Blackman after good work from Mark Corneille down the right. Grays hit back to level just after the half-hour when Lee Boylan was on hand to convert at the far post after Dennis Oli had flicked on a cross from Michael Kightly. Undeterred the visitors immediately went on the offensive and deservedly went back in front after 39 minutes when Blackman capitalised on a slip by Chris Plummer to smash the ball past Ashley Bayes from 15 yards.
Bromley had their best spell of the match after the break and went close through Nic McDonnell and Blackman before Simon Osborn's free kick was tipped onto the Grays crossbar by Bayes. The home finally got up a head of steam in the closing stages but some resolute defending and wayward finishing ensured Bromley held on to clinch a famous victory and a trip to Gillingham on November 11th .

The Lillywhites stormed into the next round thanks in the main to an exhilarating second-half performance that saw them score four times in 15 minutes having gone in at the break level at 2-2. Danny Harris gave the visitors an early lead before Nic McDonnell and Peter Adeniyi put Bromley ahead. Adrian Stone was seriously injured during the build up to Adeniyi's goal and had to be taken to hospital with what was later confimed as a broken leg. The Rocks hit back to equalise from the penalty spot through James Bunn in the 43rd minute.
Kirk Watts fired Bromley ahead for the first time just before the hour when he converted a cross from substitute, Gareth Williams who had replaced Stone in the first half. Williams then took centre-stage with a superb hat-trick of right foot finishes in the 66th, 68th and 70th minute to put the tie out of East Thurrock's reach although they did have the last word when Scott Holding volleyed home eight minutes from time.

After a cautious opening The Lillywhites settled down to play some lovely football and they went in at the break with a two-goal lead thanks to some excellent finishing from Nic McDonnell after 25 and 30 minutes.
Hayes pulled a goal back three minutes after the restart through Kieran Knight's far post header but Bromley responded in the best possible way with Donal O'Sullivan netting from close range within five minutes. October 7th 2006: Bromley 2 - 0 East Thurrock United (Ryman Premier Division)
The Lillywhites retained their place at the top of the table with a comfortable victory that was somewhat overshadowed by a bad injury to East Thurrock goalkeeper, Jamie Riley. After a hesitant start the home side warmed to their task and only several fine saves from Riley kept the scoresheet blank at the break.
Bromley began the second half on top and quickly established a two goal lead. Peter Adeniyi found Tony Boot with a high ball over the top and he outpaced the visitor's defence to opening the scoring after 48 minutes. Three minutes later Barry Moore and Nic McDonnell combined to give Boot a simple tap in with East Thurrock appealing in vain for offside. Bromley continued to push forward until the 76th minute when Riley was injured bravely diving at the feet of Lloyd Blackman. He received lengthy treatment and was taken to hospital by ambulance where he has since been discharged after undergoing various tests and scans. The game restarted in a subdued atmosphere and drifted to a finish without further incident.

The Lillywhites squeezed into the next round of the FA Cup thanks to a last-gasp winner from Tony Boot. Bromley began well and almost took a second minute lead when Peter Adeniyi's back heel struck the post before Lowestoft came back into the game. Jamie Stokeld had Andy Walker at full stretch on two occasions with stinging long range efforts and the same player also sliced wide when well placed. Bromley regained the upper hand as the half wore on with Francis Duku forcing a good save out of Lowestoft 'keeper, Andy Reynolds on the half hour.
The visitors had a lucky escape in the 53rd minute when Jamie Godbold's corner eluded everyone before being blocked on the line by Mark Corneille and cleared by the boot of Walker. The final 30 minutes saw Bromley well on top but when Lloyd Blackman rattled the post from close range a replay seemed on the cards. That was until Reynolds flapped at Simon Osborn's cross and Boot was on hand to divert Sam Wood's volley into the empty net.

More pressure before the break led to Peter Adeniyi heading home number three and the game was all but over as a contest before half time.
Hampton had more of the ball in the second half but never looked like breaking down the impressive Bromley back line and Tony Boot rounded off a splendid afternoon for The Lillywhites with a close-range volley five minutes from time.

The lead was doubled six minutes before half time when Lloyd Blackman curled a delightful free kick around the defensive wall into the corner of the net.
The second half was played at a good tempo with the visitors putting up stern resistance until the closing stages when they began to tire. An injury-hit Bromley side suffered their first defeat of the season and in doing so slipped out of the Westview Cup at The Homelands. An enthusiastic Ashford side always made things difficult for a young Bromley team and they took the lead in the 26th minute through Anthony Allman. Bromley worked hard for the remainder of the first half but found Ashford 'keeper, Simon Overland in commanding form.
After the break the visitors almost drew level when Lloyd Blackman's looping header came back off the crossbar before Ashford wrapped up the tie in the 78th minute through Richard Sinden's near-post header.

September 9th 2006: Bromley 5 - 1 Ashford Town (Middlesex) (Ryman Premier Division)
Bromley turned on the style to brush aside the visitors and move back to the top of the table. After a cautious opening the home side began to play some lovely football and went in front after 8 minutes when Simon Osborn curled home a superb effort from the corner of the penalty area. Lloyd Blackman then doubled the lead after 15 minutes when he volleyed home after a corner had been headed back across the six-yard box. Junior Kadi made it three from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute after a great run from Mark Corneille was ended by Darren Deegan's trip just inside the box
Ashford pulled a goal back four minutes after the restart through Jason Chewins' far-post volley but Bromley were soon back on top. Nic McDonnell rattled home number four in the 56th minute before Kadi completed the scoring with another penalty after Sam Wood had been sent sprawling by Chewins.

September 4th 2006: Folkestone Invicta 0 - 0 Bromley (Ryman Premier Division)
The Lillywhites endured a frustrating evening on the Kent coast when, despite dominating for long periods, they had to settle for point. The home side opened positively with Ellis Remy volleying over in the first minute but Bromley soon gained the upper hand. Good approach play created chances at regular intervals but Tony Kessell in the Folkestone goal was rarely troubled by some wayward finishing.
Bromley continued to push forward after the break but Kessell and his defence stood firm and when Donal O'Sullivan's glancing header came back off of the inside of the post in the final minute you knew it wasn't meant to be for the visitors on the night.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, O'Sullivan, Wood, Henriques, Duku (Fieldwick 59), Adeniyi, Bowry (Greenway 79),

September 2nd 2006: Bromley 4 - 0 Slough Town (Ryman Premier Division)
Bromley cruised to a comfortable victory on a windy afternoon at Hayes Lane to maintain their good start to the season. Early Slough possession came to nothing and the home side then capitalised on some uncertain goalkeeping by Keiran Drake to open up a two-goal lead at the break. The Slough custodian missed a Barry Moore free kick on the half hour, allowing Tutu Henriques to chest the ball home at the far post, and then failed to hold a low drive from Gareth Williams just before half time and Henriques was on the spot again to turn the loose ball home from close range.
It was pretty much one way traffic for the majority of the second period as Williams marked his debut with a cracking effort on the hour and Nic McDonnell rounded off things three minutes from time with a close range volley after good work from Adrian Stone.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood (Simpson 81), Duku, Henriques (Fieldwick 64), O'Sullivan, Adeniyi, Moore,
Williams (Stone 64), McDonnell, Watts.

August 28th 2006: Worthing 1 - 2 Bromley (Ryman Premier Division)
Bromley completed a successful Bank Holiday Weekend with a comfortable victory over struggling Worthing on Monday. The Lillywhites completely outplayed their hosts during the first half but only had Nic McDonnell's superb 13th minute finish to show for their efforts.
McDonnell doubled the lead four minutes into the second half with another clinical finish and at that point it seemed as if the only thing in doubt would be the margin of victory. Worthing had other ideas however and pulled one back through sub Danny Davis with 18 minutes to go but in truth never really looked like scoring again as Bromley cruised through the closing stages to chalk up another win.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, O'Sullivan, Wood (Drewett 68), Henriques, Duku, Adeniyi, Moore, Boot, McDonnell (Tiesse 68),
Watts (Simpson 62).

August 26th 2006: Bromley 1 - 0 Ramsgate (Ryman Premier Division)
Last season's Ryman Division One champions proved stubborn opponents, frustrating Bromley until eight minutes from time when Junior Kadi celebrated his international call up for Sierra Leone with the only goal of the contest.
Ramsgate asked early questions of the home side but after Michael Yianni's powerful free kick had been well saved by Andy Walker it was all one way traffic. Chris May in the visitor's goal had an inspired afternoon, pulling off several good saves and when he was beaten early in the second half by Tony Boot's lob the crossbar came to his rescue. Just when it seemed as if The Rams had got the point them came for Peter Adeniyi won the ball in the air on the edge of the box to find Kadi who coolly slipped a defender before firing past May from 10 yards. .

Wood (Watts 71).

August 22nd 2006: Bromley 2 - 1 Staines Town (Ryman Premier Division)
Bromley won a pulsating contest against an inventive Staines Town side that always made things difficult for the home side but in the end second half substitute, Adrian Stone's superb 30-yard strike proved enough to settle a high quality encounter on the excellent Hayes Lane surface. The visitors looked the more dangerous side during the early stages but it was Bromley who went ahead after 20 minutes through Nic McDonnell's fine right-foot volley. Staines responded in positive fashion and only some excellent goalkeeping by Andy Walker kept Bromley's lead in tact up to the half time break.
The visitors punished a rare lapse in concentration by the Bromley defence to draw level in the 50th minute. A short corner found Errol Telemaque unmarked on the edge of the penalty and he drove the ball past Andy Walker at the near post with the help of a slight deflection. Bromley quickly regained the upper hand although they looked to have blown their chance of victory when McDonnell blazed a penalty over the bar on the hour. Determined to claim all three points Bromley continued to push forward and were rewarded in the 79th minute when Stone collected Gary Drewett's pass before firing an unstoppable shot past Shaun Allaway to win it..
Bromley represented by: Walker, Drewett, Wood, Henriques, O'Sullivan, Fieldwick, Kadi (Corneille 46), Moore, Adeniyi, McDonnell (Stone 70),
Boot (Tiesse 70).

August 19th 2006: Chelmsford City 1 - 1 Bromley (Ryman Premier Division)
Bromley opened their Ryman Premier Division campaign with a difficult trip to one of the bookie's pre-season title favourites. After a tentative opening by both sides it was Chelmsford who struck first through Jeff Minton from the penalty spot after 31 minutes. Bromley responded well and played some controlled football but couldn't break down the home side and went into the break one down.
Kezie Ibe went close early in the second half for Chelmsford before Bromley began to get on top and they drew level just after the hour. Bobby Bowry's quickly taken free kick caught out the home defence allowing Tony Boot to head home via a deflection off of a Chelmsford defender. Both sides had chances to win it during the closing stages but in the end a draw was nothing less than Bromley deserved.
Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood, Henriques, O'Sullivan, Bowry, Adeniyi, Moore, Boot, McDonnell, Watts (Fieldwick 90).
